What is living history?
Living history is the interpretation of the past from archaeological and written evidence that has survived. Whilst it can never be an exact and 100% true interpretation of the past, we aim to ensure we are as close as possible.
The early 17th century was very different to today's society, and they interpreted the world in a completely different way to us, but there are still many parallels. Living history offers people a chance to really get involved and 'hands on' with the history, and to come away with an impression and feeling for what life was like at the time, and how this compares to the life we live today. It's good to read up about what life was like, but there is no better way to learn about history than being hands on, and being able to touch and discover it for yourself.
Our displays are as authentic as we can make them, and we comply with Health & Safety Regulations and practicality within our displaysHow can you book us?

Yes. Some schools don't have money spare in the budget to pay external visits with all that that entails.
